Tom Atwood Captures EHS Boys at the Granite City Invitational

Thank you to all of the parents and fans who added photos on Facebook from the Granite City Invitational. I will try to add a few each day. Today I will start off with some photos taken by Tom Atwood. Tom has really mastered capturing the drama and emotion of a cross-country race. Thank you Tom for your efforts. This was my wife's favorite "Photo of the Day"!
Edwardsville Junior, Chad Maxwell, overcomes a difficult week of practice to finish 5th at the Granite City Invitational and played a key role in the Tiger's victory.
Just his second high school race and freshman Brydon Groves-Scott looks like a veteran. Brydon finished in 21st place in his first major high school invitational.

Wes Schoenthal nears the finish at the end of the Fresh/Soph Race at Granite on Saturday. Wes was the first Edwardsville finisher in the race, capturing 8th place!
