The Liberty varsity girls were the top finishers for Edwardsville at the IESA State Meet in Normal Saturday. They placed 17th overall; Lincoln girls finished 21st. The Liberty boys varsity also placed 21st. Liberty 7th-grader Erica Bailey was named all-state after placing 19th individually with a time of 12:16. Top finisher among the Edwardsville boys was Michael Romann who placed 63rd in a time of 11:42.
